The first race of seven in all will be held at 11.30 a.m. Altogether, 67 horses from four nations will be taking part, which underlines the internationality of the horse races on the frozen lake of St. Moritz. “Preparations are moving into the final phase and the racetrack is being worked on constantly. The cold temperatures are ideal for preparations. On an average, the ice sheet is about 50cm thick. We are confident of being able to run safe and excellent races”, said a delighted Thomas C.
