Strong field for the LONGINES 81st Grosser Preis von St. Moritz

The winners of the last three events – Berrahri 2019, Nimrod 2018 and Jungleboogie 2016 – will compete against 12 other raiders. A total of 15 horses from four nations will enter the starting gates this Sunday at 12.30 pm. The field is stronger than it has been for years. This is made possible by the track crew of the Seeinfra, which this year had to struggle with a lack of snowfall (the track consists of technically produced snow) and unusually warm temperatures. However, thanks to their tireless efforts day and night, the track is in top condition.

In the GRAND PRIX CREDIT SUISSE Adrian von Gunten will try to win the title “King of the Engadine” with Zambeso. The chances are good for the experienced rider and his horse, which has great stamina.

In the GRAND PRIX BMW, Vladimir de Ginai, the winner of the first race day, as well as Ugo de Tortière, the winner of the second race day, will compete against nine other opponents. This race also promises pure excitement. A total of 67 horses will run in six races and three disciplines.
